that's how fishing is mah .... sometimes the fish goes kamikaze ... sometimes they are so wary ...

I went to this lake with crystal clear waters ... the fishies were so spooky ... I had 5 fish follow the lure all the way back to my rod tip ... I saw the fishies in the water with my sunglasses, the moment they saw me they'll zoom away in a flash ....

Is it the one along Rifle Range Road?

I hiked from MacRitchie to Bukit Timah a couple of weeks ago... I remember passing by the SAF School of Ammo.

there are several trails that extends from bukit timah to macritchie ...

this one is quite scenic ... you can see small ponds along the way .... filled with fresh water shrimps and crabs and rare fishies like wild gouramies and jungle snakehead ...

I don't remember the names ... only the routes ...

there are several trails that involves walking on the pipelines actually ... Laughing

along rifle range road i only remember two...

one is going up to durian loop then back down again to rifle range
the other goes to belukar trail (but no need to cross the pipes)

the third one links macritchie to rifle range a short pipeline over a canal

but all these pipes all cannot cross liao.
